Our location:
We are located in the Whicham Valley, in the South West corner of the Lake District National Park. This gorgeous little valley is an undiscovered gem, with great views across to Coniston, Duddon, and into the heart of the Lake District, but without the crowding of the Central Lakes it remains a wonderful, quiet area to ride.

Please read! Important Notice:
As we live on site you will definately bump into one of our small beasties at some point... we are very dog friendly BUT if you bring your own dogs please be aware that ours are on home territory, please keep yours on a lead! If you want to park your car in the shade for your dogs comfort just ask, we know where we can do this!! Also please do not throw sticks for our dogs we dont want splinters in mouths and broken teeth, thank you in advance!

Your route to us

From the M6:
Take junction 36. We are on average around 50 minutes driving time from this junction. Follow the dual carriageway for around 4 miles, take the A590 a LH turn and follow the A590 signed Barrow, Ulverston until you see signs for A5092 to Millom , Workington at Greenodd, a right turn across a stretch of dual carriageway, ... Follow the A5092 for approximately 10 miles which (without turning off) turns into the A595 heading past Broughton and Millom.. Go past the first turn for Millom (do not turn to Millom) and we are 1 mile left further down the road approximately 100 yards after the turn for Brockwood Hall.

From North / West::
Travelling from the north along the coast, the A595 pass Bootle 7 km further turn to the left, follow the A595 signed Kendal, we are 4 miles on the right from that left hand turn (close to Silecroft). You'll pass a farm "Beckside", then a row of cottages on the left, around a bend in the road and you'll see our green sign ahead. If you get to the Brockwood turn you have gone too far..... From the south, Millom, follow the A5093 out of Millom until, just past Silecroft, you'll see the right turn A595 signed Kendal.from that point follow as above.
